GREENWOOD, Ind. – Indy South Greenwood Airport and the City of Greenwood invite the community to Airport Day, “Just Plane Fun,” this Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the airport.
It is a day of activities, exhibits, food, and fun. Parking and admission are free. Food can be purchased from vendors.
Airport Day will feature military reenactors, helicopter rides, flight simulators, interactive displays, aviation career information, and more. The Greenwood Fire Department and Greenwood Police Department will also be there with hands-on displays.
“Just Plane Fun” on Airport Day at the Indy South Greenwood Airport has become one of the community’s most popular annual events.
