NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) has awarded Deputy Chris Amis the Life Saving Award for his heroic actions in the fall of 2024.
Last year, Deputy Amis came upon a serious crash involving an overturned vehicle with a trapped occupant. Without hesitation, he began rescue efforts.
