GREENWOOD, Ind. – Center Grove High School presented 54 seniors with their white coats during a ceremony on Wednesday, May 21.
The seniors earned the honor by completing four years of Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science courses.
During the ceremony, the students who received their white coats learned about their significance and took the Hippocratic Oath.
The Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science sequence allows students to investigate the roles of biomedical professionals as they study the concepts of human medicine, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and public health. Students who complete all four program years also receive their Ivy Tech dual-credit certification.
