BARTHOLOMEW/JACKSON COUNTIES, Ind. – Indiana State Police (IS) Sgt. Stephen Wheeles reports that troopers from the ISP-Versailles District conducted a special “Wolfpack” Patrol on Friday, May 16, along I-65 in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties.
During this special patrol, troopers wrote 29 tickets and issued 48 warnings. There were also seven criminal arrests, ranging from drug charges to driving while suspended. Troopers assisted six motorists and worked one lengthy crash.
Four commercial motor vehicles were also inspected.
Wheeles said, “ISP troopers will continue to conduct these targeted patrols (“Wolfpacks”) to make south-central Indiana roadways and communities safer.
