COLUMBUS, Ind. – At its Monday morning meeting, the Columbus Golden Kiwanis Club welcomed Columbus native and former Vice President of the U.S. Mike Pence. He spent about an hour at Mill Race Center.
The theme of his 15-minute prepared talk was, “Speak your dreams and tell people you’d like to serve.”
During the speech, he credited Columbus community members for their influence on him, his values, and his career.
After his talk, Pence stuck around and fielded a variety of questions from the crowd for about another 45 minutes.
