VERNON, Ind. – Perceptions Yoga, Mindfulness, and Art in Vernon has announced “VISION ART,” a solo exhibition featuring the work of local artist Russell Bailey. The public is invited to the free show that will open on Saturday, February 1, from noon to 2 p.m.
A lifelong resident of North Vernon, Bailey is an artist who considers his craft a true calling. Inspired by wildlife and nature, he works in diverse mediums including glass etchings, acrylic painting, enamel work, and pen-and-ink sketches. With a 30-year career as a professional tattoo artist, he brings a unique perspective to his fine art practice.
Bailey says, “I call my work ‘Visions’ because it transforms intangible ideas into tangible art. Whether it’s a memorial piece to honor a lost loved one or a meaningful family design, I take pride in capturing emotions and memories in every project. My motto is simple – your ideas become my vision.”
“VISION ART” will be on view at Perceptions Yoga throughout February. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
