SEYMOUR, Ind. – Jackson County United Way (JCUW) is bringing its spin on a popular reality show. On Friday, March 29, the Jackson County Hidden Voice will debut as a new fund-raising event at the Pines Evergreen Room in Seymour.
The Jackson County Hidden Voice is a nod to the famous “Masked Singer” TV show, which has run on Fox for 12 seasons. The singing competition brings together celebrities with concealed identities to perform songs for a panel of judges. As the contestants are eliminated, they unmask themselves for the audience, revealing their identities to those watching.
The Jackson County version will feature eight local “celebrities” competing for the title of champion. JCUW Community Impact Coordinator Elizabeth Copeland said, “We have worked hard to recruit participants who are enthusiastic and ready to perform. It is great to see how excited everyone is about this event for the first year.”
Proceeds from the Jackson County Hidden Voice will support JCUW’s Annual Campaign, which funds local programming related to healthy living, youth opportunities, and financial security. In 2024, JCUW supported 16 community programs across 12 agencies by investing funds into these programs.
“We have plenty of sponsorship opportunities still available and a lot of ways to get involved,” Copeland added.
Sponsorships range from $250-$2,000 and each package comes with its own benefits. To learn more about sponsoring the inaugural event, call 812-522-5450, ext. 3, or visit jacsy.org/jchiddenvoice.
