WHITELAND, Ind. – The Town of Whiteland leaf collection service begins Monday, November 4, and continues until the leaves stop falling in December. To ensure a smooth leaf collection process, residents should adhere to these guidelines:
- Place leaves in piles along the curb, not the road
- Do not let leaves block sidewalks or stone drains
- Do not mix branches/yard waste with leaves
- Do not bag leaves. Only loose leaves are collected
- Avoid parking cars on the road on collection days
- Do not let kids play in leaf piles near the street
