COLUMBUS, Ind. – Heritage Fund has announced that online applications are available for scholarships to be awarded in 2025. Completed applications are due by 4 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2025.
A listing of scholarships, eligibility requirements, and a link to a new application website are available at heritagefundbc.org/Scholarships.
Applicants should create an account through the new site to access applications. A new feature of the system is the eligibility match, which automatically applies students for the scholarships for which they have qualified.
Those who apply will receive a confirmation of those scholarships and any additional information required. It is important that applicants carefully review and answer all questions and eligibility statements correctly, as well as those included in the email confirmation following submission.
Heritage Fund awarded more than $1M in educational scholarships in 2024 to area students.
Scholarship opportunities available for 2025 include:
- Columbus Evening Kiwanis Club Scholarship – open to graduating seniors from Bartholomew County with a financial need who demonstrate strong scholastic ability
- The Patrick Bowman Memorial Music Fund – for guitar players, songwriters, and country music performers with Patrick’s style of traditional country music
- The 2025 Anna Newell Brown and Betty F. Brown Awards.- competition open to Bartholomew County high school students for vocal and instrumental excellence
