COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Commissioners met with the fire chiefs in Bartholomew County on Friday morning concerning the Burn Ban that has been in place for Columbus and Bartholomew County since September 16.
It was decided during the meeting that with the county’s rain over the last day or so and the wet weather forecast for Saturday the Burn Ban could be discontinued, effective immediately.
The Commissioners thanked the public for its cooperation.
