COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) received a report Friday evening about the threat of a shooting that was going to take place at a local school.
Just before 7 p.m., officers were called about a shooting threat made against Parkside Elementary School. The message, sent via social media, indicated it would happen on Monday, September 16.
Officers and detectives are actively investigating the origins of the message. At this point, it is unknown if this incident is related to any other threats in other communities.
