GREENWOOD, Ind. — Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers recently announced the development of a new Comprehensive Plan which will serve as Greenwood’s all-encompassing “blueprint for the future.” The city last updated the existing Comprehensive Plan in 2007.
Designed to guide future growth and development, it will prioritize the eastern corridor’s sustained expansion and reinvestment in the community’s mature areas.
Residents can join city planners at the Greenwood Public Library this Wednesday, July 24, to review the drafted comprehensive plan and give feedback. The meeting is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Community Room A/B.
“Greenwood’s new Comprehensive Plan will outline our collective vision for the city, goals and principles to achieve success, and most importantly, it will be a community-driven plan,” said Mayor Myers. “It will be a collaborative effort across city leadership, residents, and engineering partner, HWC Engineering.”
