COLUMBUS, Ind. – Foundation For Youth (FFY) will host its second annual Juneteenth celebration this Wednesday, June 19, from 9 to 10 a.m. at its building at 405 Hope Ave.
The program seeks to help individuals better understand that national holiday with several talks and activities. Events include a live performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a statement of faithfulness and freedom. There will also be a drama performance from performer Yoruba.
All FFY families and youth are welcome at the event. If kids are not registered for SOE Club, Camps, or Teen Days, they must be accompanied by an adult.
