COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) has announced the retirement of Firefighter Craig Weddle, a 28-year veteran of the department.
Weddle joined CFD in 1996 and served as a firefighter, certified Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazardous Materials Technician.
He retires from his assignment at Fire Station #5 on Battalion C. His official retirement date is Monday, May 20.
The Columbus Fire Department expressed its deep gratitude to Firefighter Weddle, for his years of service to the department and the community.
