COLUMBUS, Ind. – Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Jack Cramer Ideals of Athletic Competition Award, sponsored by the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department. The honor is in memory of Jack Cramer, a former local athlete who died at the age of 33 in 1978.
This award is presented annually to a male and a female, senior high school through adult-aged athlete, coach, or sports organizer. All nominees must live or work in Bartholomew County.
Karen McCaa was the recipient in the female category and Nathan Frasier in the male category in 2023.
