COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the inaugural Catalyst Pitch Competition, a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas. Applications are due by June 1, with selections made by June 4.
The competition is open to businesses based in Bartholomew, Jackson, or Jennings County, with an annual revenue not exceeding $200,000 as of May 2024.
Selected participants will present their pitches in person at the Columbus Learning Center on June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event is open to the public, offering a chance for community members to support local startups.
Presenters will have five minutes to pitch, followed by a three-minute Q&A session with expert judges. A suggested format for slides and content is provided.
With over $15,000 in cash prizes sponsored by Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Duke Energy, the Catalyst Pitch Competition aims to propel local businesses toward success. Winners will be announced the week following the event.
