FRANKLIN, Ind. – Church on Jefferson, a historic landmark in the heart of Franklin originally constructed in the 1800s, has announced its grand reopening as a premier event venue after being transformed.
A million-dollar makeover has been completed, preserving its original two-story stained-glass windows and ornate architectural style while modernizing the space into an event center.
The church was restored to its former glory, offering historic charm and modern amenities. The sanctuary is now a 200-person event space with a stage, balcony, and an upstairs 50-person VIP lounge. Furnished bride and groom suites were also added for comfort and privacy.
Church on Jefferson has partnered with Taxman Hospitality Group (THG) to manage the venue.
Nathan Huelsebusch, THG CEO Nathan Huelsebusch said, “The Horizon Property Group team has done a beautiful job preserving the historic integrity of this iconic building. THG is excited to bring new life to the space by hosting weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, and private parties.”
