SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Chamber has announced its upcoming Education Summit will be on Monday, October 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Copper Top. The conference will bring together educators, business leaders, and community members for a day of collaboration and innovation.
The event will feature a roundtable discussion with Indiana Secretary of Education, Dr. Katie Jenner, alongside local school superintendents. Together, they will explore critical questions shaping the future of education in Jackson County and beyond, including:
- What are our biggest opportunities for improving student outcomes?
- How can schools and businesses better collaborate?
- What supports do teachers need most?
“This summit is about creating meaningful conversations that lead to actionable solutions,” said Dan Robison, Chamber Executive Director. “By bringing together education leaders and our business community, we can better prepare students for success and strengthen Jackson County’s future workforce.”
The Education Summit costs $40 and is open to the public. Community members, educators, and business leaders are encouraged to attend this important opportunity to connect, collaborate, and create real change in education.
