GREENWOOD, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone Contractors, L.P., is scheduled to begin a bridge deck overlay project on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek on or after Monday, July 7, in Greenwood.
Work will take place on U.S. 31 between Main Street and Smith Valley Road and is expected to be completed in mid-November. U.S. 31 will be reduced to one lane in each direction using temporary crossovers while work is in progress.
This project is part of a $3.7 million contract awarded in October 2024.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
