NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Taylor Swift is undoubtedly the most popular musical artist in the world today. The Park Theatre Civic Centre is bringing the “next best thing to her” to its iconic downtown North Vernon venue on August 9, at 7:30 p.m.
Sarah Jessica and her entourage will perform A Twist on Taylor, a dazzling tribute to Taylor Swift that has captivated audiences from coast to coast. And like the previous two years when “A Twist on Taylor” came to the Park Theatre, a sellout is virtually guaranteed.
“We’ve already sold over 200 tickets with less than 100 left, and the rest will soon be gone,” said Park Theatre board president Patti Yount. “We’re so lucky to get her back.”
Concert organizers say that Sarah Jessica looks, sounds, and acts uncannily like Taylor Swift, and it’s hard not to imagine that one is at a Taylor Swift concert as she makes Taylor’s music come alive. Opening the show will be The Cherrys, a multi-genre pop group from Seymour.
A Twist of Taylor tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. They can be purchased at the Park Theatre box office, 25 N. Madison Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Or, call the box office at 812-346-0330 to reserve tickets.
