COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus City Utilities (CCU) has released the City’s annual Water Quality Report covering the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. To view the report and learn more about your drinking water, go to qrco.de/water-quality.
The URL link will be included on June bills to customers, and customers receiving a monthly electronic bill will receive an email with the link to access the report. Copies will be distributed to apartment complexes, multiple user accounts, and various public places.
The 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act requires that every public water system serving more than 15 service connections prepare a water quality report, which provides information on where water comes from and how it compares to current standards.
In 2024, CCU met or exceeded all drinking water quality standards set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).
If you want a paper copy of the annual Water Quality Report mailed to you, call 812-372-8861.
