COLUMBUS, Ind.–The ‘I am Me Jamboree’ 5K and 0.5K run hits the track in downtown Columbus this Saturday, June 7 at 830 a.m. I am Me Jamboree is open to all ages and features two different courses that support the inclusion of individuals with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities or conditions.
There is a 0.5k walk/run/roll event and 5k walk/run/roll event. Whether one can participate unassisted, or one needs assistive devices (walker, cane, wheelchair, crutches, supports, scooter, etc.) to complete a course, all are welcome.
The 0.5k event is approximately 0.3 miles and starts on Franklin Street and the 5k is 3.1 miles and starts on 17th street. 3 hours will be allotted to complete either of the event courses.
