COLUMBUS, Ind. — River Valley Legal Aid, Pro Bono Indiana has announced a free Legal Aid Walk-In Clinic will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus. The clinic, for low-income residents, is from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Pro Bono Program utilizes local volunteer attorneys, offering free legal consultations to low-income individuals for the provision of legal advice in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community.
Individuals attending can expect a free 10-minute consultation on general civil and housing matters and limited pro se assistance/advice on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.
