GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Greenwood Police Department (GPD) is looking for a volunteer chaplain to serve the department. Primary duties include providing spiritual guidance and comfort to officers and members of the community who are experiencing trauma.
There are minimum requirements. Applicants must:
- Be an ordained minister or priest
- Be active in a local church
- Be serving as a member of the pastoral staff
- Be at least 21 years old
- Be a US Citizen
- Not have any criminal convictions
- Live within five miles of the City of Greenwood
