COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Visitors Center recently announced a new event for 2025.
Chuck Taylor, one of Columbus’ most notable natives, will be celebrated with a festival in his honor on June 6 and 7. The Bartholomew County Historical Society will host the inaugural Chuck Taylor Festival, honoring the Indiana legend.
Celebrate the life and legacy of Chuck Taylor and his world-famous All-Star tennis shoes while enjoying food truck bites, basketball-themed activities, inspiring speakers, and an exploration of Chuck’s history alongside Indiana’s notable basketball stars.
The festival also features a kids’ zone, live music, and plenty of surprises. More details are coming soon. Get ready to lace up your “chucks” for the celebration of a true Hoosier icon.
