INDIANAPOLIS – Two of Hoosier state’s U.S. Senate hopefuls will face off in a debate this Tuesday, October 29. The third candidate, Republican Congressman Jim Banks, will not participate.
The Indiana Debate Commission (IDC) will host the debate from 7 to 8 p.m. The general election is on Tuesday, November 5.
Democrat Valerie McCray and Libertarian Andy Horning accepted the invitation to debate, IDC officials said. Along with Banks, they are hoping to succeed Republican U.S. Sen. Mike Braun.
The US Senate Debate will be broadcast live from the WISH-TV and Circle City Broadcasting Entertainment Studios in downtown Indianapolis. It will also be live-streamed at IndianaDebateCommission.com.
