COLUMBUS, Ind. – If you’re still wearing an IUPUC shirt, here’s your chance to upgrade to a brand new, free, long-sleeved IU Columbus tee. The IU Columbus Marketing team is collecting old shirts and exchanging them for new ones throughout the last week in October.
The satellite campus of IU Indianapolis officially became IU Columbus on July 1 and has been updating its branding, including new logos and signs, and a new web domain.
“It’s been months since we completed the transition to IU Columbus, and I’m still seeing IUPUC gear on campus, so I thought a shirt exchange would be a fun way to remind people that we’re no longer IUPUC and give them something new to wear,” said Jay Lesandrini, Director of Communications and Marketing.
Lesandrini added that the IUPUC shirts collected will be donated to relief organizations or repurposed as dog toys for local shelters.
Exchange your shirt on “Main Street” in the Columbus Learning Center during these times:
- Oct. 28: 10 a.m. to noon
- Oct. 29: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Oct. 30: Noon to 2 p.m.
- Oct. 31: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The deal is one new shirt per person, while supplies last, but you can turn in as many IUPUC shirts as you want.
