SEYMOUR, Ind. – Schneck Foundation is hosting What’s the Advantage, a seminar for individuals turning age 65 and older to help navigate MyTruAdvantage Medicare Advantage plans. Attendees will learn the differences between original Medicare and MyTruAdvantage Medicare Advantage plans.
MyTruAdvantage was founded by local doctors and hospitals and is a provider-led plan. According to the American Journal of Managed Care, provider-led plans like MyTruAdvantage deliver higher quality care and better overall member satisfaction.
It is local and offers both HMO and PPO plans with a $0 member premium, $0 primary care provider copays, low co-pay for specialist visits, plus dental, vision, hearing, and fitness benefits.
Seminars are held at the Schneck Professional Building in Classroom 300, at 411 W. Tipton St., and will be presented by MyTruAdvantage on Monday, October 28, at 9 a.m. and Tuesday, October 29, at 6 p.m. A sales agent will be present.
