HARTSVILLE, Ind. – Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) reported damage to a water main causing a water outage in the Hartsville area on Wednesday morning.
Once water was restored, EWBC issued a Boil Water Advisory for the Town of Hartsville through Friday at noon.
During the Boil Water Advisory, customers in the area should bring any water to be consumed to a rapid boil for at least five minutes and then let the water cool before consuming.
