COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Department has announced that because of events this weekend at Moose Park in Columbus, contractors have changed their work schedules and revised their closings.
County Road 300E, between US 31 and Base Road, will be closed to all traffic, beginning Thursday, September 5, at 7 a.m. and reopen on Friday, September 6 at 4 p.m. The road will be open for weekend activities at the park.
It will close again on Monday, September 9, at 7 a.m. and reopen on Wednesday, September 11, at 5 p.m.
Motorists are asked to plan a different route and avoid the area during the closings.
