FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Chamber Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, announced the recipients of its Small Business Capacity-Building Grant program on Thursday.
This program was funded through a Franklin Economic Development Commission grant and facilitated by the Franklin Chamber Foundation to strengthen local businesses through capacity-building projects.
Through a rigorous selection process, 12 businesses were chosen from a competitive group of applicants to receive funding for their capacity-building projects.
The grants, totaling $30,000, will provide essential financial assistance to these businesses, enabling them to implement their proposed projects and strengthen their businesses.
“We are thrilled to award these grants to such deserving businesses,” said President/CEO Rosie Chambers. “By supporting their capacity-building projects, we are not only helping them grow and
succeed but also strengthening the overall economic vitality of our community.”
The recipients of the capacity-building grants are:
- 10 Pins Franklin – Engineering study
- A Trophy Business – User-friendly e-commerce website
- Arete Purpose Consulting – Invest in equipment and software
- At Home With Heartland – Create an outdoor seating conversation space
- BYTAVI – Indoor wall mural
- Courthouse Coneys – Purchase a freezer and support a POS system
- Miss Cara Photography – Invest in equipment for community studio space
- Natura Wellness – Addition of treatment offices
- Norton Premier Real Estate – Invest in equipment upgrade
- Possibilities – Launch and promote Franklin Discovery Walks
- Sylvan Learning of Franklin – Postcard mailing campaign
- Woven Co. Candles – Holiday marketing campaign
