GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Greenwood Fire Department (GFD) responded to a fatal motorcycle accident late Friday night on U.S. 31, near Main Street.
A 20-year-old Indianapolis man died in the crash after reportedly being trapped under his motorcycle.
The Greenwood Police Department is investigating.
GFD said both the northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 31 were closed for a time to allow investigation and clean up.
The White River Township Fire Department also responded and assisted authorities.
