COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Heritage Fund (HF)-The Community Fund of Bartholomew County says you can now sign up for the second annual John 3:16 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Registration is open until July 13.
The annual tourney benefits HF and honors Sgt. Jonathon Michael Hunter and the scholarship that is in his name. Sgt. Hu8nter was killed in Afghanistan in 2017.
The tournament will be held on July 20 at Columbus East High School. A $60 registration fee per team covers a maximum of four players and t-shirts for all members.
It will be divided by age/grade groups. There are spots for grades 2-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12, plus older age groups 19-39, 40-50, and 50+. There is also a 3-point contest for all ages.
