FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin Community Schools (FCS) congratulates this year’s Elementary Teacher of the Year, Trich Foreman, and the Secondary Teacher of the Year, Mary Foreman. The Franklin Education Connection sponsors the FCS Teacher of the Year program.
Trich Foreman teaches second grade at Northwood Elementary School and just completed her 40th year of teaching in Franklin. A spokesperson for FCS said, “Her enthusiasm for continuous improvement and professional development makes her a role model for educators. Her ability to engage students with diverse learning styles and backgrounds is remarkable.”
Mary Foreman is a 7th-grade social studies teacher at Franklin Community Middle School. FCS stated, “One of Mary’s most outstanding qualities is her exceptional instructional skills. Her lessons are meticulously planned with clear objectives, which she executes with precision and enthusiasm. She consistently incorporates activities that challenge her students to think critically and write effectively, fostering a culture of academic rigor in her classroom.”
