COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department and Children Inc. present the 54th annual Festival of the Young Child this Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark. This year’s theme is “Make a Little Music.”
Festival of the Young Child celebrates the youngsters of Columbus. Community organizations and businesses that focus on serving young children and their families have been working together to organize an event for children ages eight and under.
It is also an informational opportunity where families can interact with, and learn about the different resources available to them in town.
The Festival of the Young Child will have free games, activities, snacks, live music, and a Japanese Taiko Drum Showcase by Southern Indiana Taiko. An adult must accompany children.
