Kevin Max this week went to his fans to ask for help in publishing his next CD Broken Temples. Kevin describes the new project as a musical companion to the great journey of the human condition. Mandisa’s effort to memorize a passage of scripture each month in 2014 is about the wrap up. But even as the year comes to an end, Mandisa continues to help train her fans on memorizing scriptures. She shared a few tips earlier this week. They include starting with the address and repeating it over and over. Then break the verse down into sections. Once the first section and the address are memorized continue on with the second section, then the third. Mandisa adds that it is also important to remember that it is not a race.

Audio Adrenaline’s Hands and Feet project celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2014. And they say it’s incredible to see how far the program has come in the past decade. Officials say 2014 was their biggest year so far. They currently care for over 100 children in four different villages, serving more than 20-thousand meals per month.

Tobymac is gearing up for his next Ultimate Fan Experience and Run for Hope event. This week he invited fans to join him, his band DiverseCity, and his family for the sixth annual Team Tobymac Run for Hope. It will take place April 24 and 25. Participants will meet Tobymac, attend a private Tobymac concert, and take part in the Music City Marathon or half Marathon. Money raised will help to fund New Hope Academy, a private school for inner city youth.

MIKESCHAIR lead singer Mike Grayson was showing off the stockings his wife, Molly, made for their Christmas this year. He says she even made one for their unborn baby.

Congratulations to David Crowder. iTunes has named his new CD Neon Steeple the Christian album of the year. Crowder says he is grateful and humbled.

Looking for some new Christmas music? Jamie Grace has released an EP with her sister Morgan. It includes her brand new Christmas song Born Tonight along with two songs by Morgan.

The latest trend in Christian music is remix albums, putting a new face on past music from various artists like Tobymac, Mandisa, and Amy Grant. Now you can add Britt Nicole to that list. She has announced plans for a remix album in 2015. According to the web site New Release Tuesday, the album will be released on March 3.

The members of Tenth Avenue North say choosing the next song from their Cathedral CD to send to radio is going to be tough. Band members asked their fans for their selection but, so far, the vote hasn’t been very definitive. The top selections were their songs Cathedrals and Stars. In fact, band members say that after hundreds of votes, the two songs were in a virtual tie. Tenth Avenue North front man Mike Donehey says that, as a writer, picking a favorite song is like choosing between children. Even if you have an ugly one, you love em all the same.

Did you know that new artist David Dunn already has a Christmas EP. It’s titled This Is Christmas and includes five songs.

Keep Laura Story in your prayers this week. She tweeted that she is taking her twins on their first bus trip.

The Thrive tour, with Casting Crowns, Mandisa, and the Sidewalk prophets, wrapped up over the weekend. And now Casting Crowns member Jaun DeVevo has released a one-page overview of the tour. Juan said the tour included 39 concerts, six buses, two trucks and a team of 69 people, including 9 kids. They traveled through 23 states and two counties, ministering to more than 175,000 people, staying in 549 hotel rooms, eating 7,410 meals, and traveling nearly 22,000 miles. Jaun adds that they consumed 560 Starbucks drinks, 242 pizza’s and 6,000 bottles of water while visiting 39 malls and taking advantage of 6,270 massage minutes.

Todd Agnew has been burning the midnight oil. He tweeted as he spent another Sunday night studying: taking Hebrew and Greek at the same time might not have been the best idea. The good news is that Todd says he is in the home stretch.

The folks at Houston’s First Baptist Church know Natalie Grant’s love language. She tweeted that they had the Seahawks game on the big screen just for her Sunday evening.

Darlene Zschech the struggling to get moving today. She said she is about 80 percent back to her former energy levels after cancer treatment earlier in the year. But Darlene added: I Praise God. He Is faithful to COMPLeTIOn of my miracle.

A campaign promise for Mercyme’s is Mike Scheuchzer. He tweeted: If I were president, my firs initiative would be to restore America to her former glory by replacing all reality T.V. with Little House on the Prairie

Paul Baloche was celebrating his son’s victory this week. The Worship leader tweeted that his son’s Speech and Debate team at Princeton University won nationals. Paul said he is a proud dad.

Beth Redman, the wife of worship leader Matt Redman, says their family has a unique way of celebrating a baptism. She said: when your daughter gets baptized there’s only one thing to do… Throw a party and dance on the table. And that’s literally what they did. Beth shared a picture of their family dancing on the kitchen table after the baptism.

Mac Powell got a little more involved in Alabama football than planned. The Third Day lead singer was on the sidelines for Alabama’s SEC Championship game over the weekend. And he actually caught a pass. Actually he caught the ball thrown out of play as it bounced off a security guard. But that didn’t stop Mac from sharing the video of the catch, and a slow motion replay, on his instagram page.

Many Christian artists are making their mark on Twitter. But the Christian music web site Hear It First recently released their list of what they identify as the top 10 Christian artist accounts. And they include The Sidewalk Prophets, Natalie Grant, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, Sanctus Real, Matt Redman, Jamie Grace, Kutless, Third Day, and Hillsong United.

The Christian music web site New Release Tuesday has announced plans for another live concert. They will be hosting Newsboys founder and former front man Peter Furler this Thursday, December 11, at 8:00pm CT.

Sidewalk Prophets guitarist Ben McDonald says he spent some time recently learning how to play glockenspiel. Ben says he liked it until they had a half step key change.

It’s not everyday that you’re greeted by a life size poster of yourself when you get off the plane in your home community. But that was Michael W Smith’s experience this week. He arrived at the airport in Nashville and was greeted by a floor to ceiling poster of his new Christmas album the spirit of Christmas.

Natalie Grant was on a field trip to a local fire station with her daughters when she found out she was nominated for a Grammy. Her response: being nominated is so totally cool, but I gotta be honest – being in town to go on a field trip with my kids is totally awesome. Natalie added: It’s because it’s me celebrating my favorite role: mommy.

Earlier this year we told you that John Steingard had been taking motorcycle training classes. Now that the Hawk Nelson front man is a resident of California he just tweeted a picture of his first motorcycle, a Triumph Bonneville.

Tenth Avenue North front man Mike Donehey says a friend recently asked him what he was doing. Mike replied that he was reading his Bible. Mike’s friend told him: “Ahh, like a good man does.” But Mikes response was: “No. Like a needy man does.”

Building 429 guitarist Aaron Branch recently shared his thoughts on the racial turmoil in our nation. Aaron tweeted: I’m all about freedom of speech and peaceful protest against true injustice. But he went on to add: But when it turns to violence and destruction of lives and businesses, you deserve to be arrested. That my friends is not freedom of speech. It’s excuse for the few that have malicious intent in their hearts to take advantage of a sad act and do evil while calling it free speech.

Congratulations to Shoey Chapman. The daughter of Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman is a member of the cheerleading squad that won the CPA state championships of the weekend.

Newsboys drummer Duncan Phillips says his wife went a little crazy while decorating for Christmas over the weekend. He said she put 2-thousand Christmas lights on their tree and that’s before the ornaments were even added.

This weekend the members of Among The Thirsty were thanking everyone who helped to raise money through the penny jar project. Band members say over 33,000 dollars was raised for Orphans in Uganda.

Luke from for King and Country was seeing Christmas through the eyes of his children this weekend. Luke and his family were checking out the lights in their community and he tweeted: There is nothing like a toddler seeing Christmas lights. Oh the wonder that fills his eyes.

Jimmy Needham was celebrating his freedom in Christ this weekend. The Christian artist tweeted a picture of a playground. He said: 20 years ago right here my ten year porn addiction began. Jimmy says he went back over the weekend “free and with his family”. He added: God makes all things new.

The nominees for the 57th annual Grammy Awards were announced over the weekend. Francesca Battistelli, for King and Country and Mercyme led the list of Christian contemporary bands with two nominations each. Lecrae, NeedtoBreathe, Crowder, Royal Taylor and Natalie Grant each came away with one nomination. The winners will be announced on February 8.

New Release Tuesday has announced the nominees for the third annual We Love Christian Music Awards. Leading the nominations is for King and Country. The band is in the running for Group of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Voting for the We Love Christian Music Awards is open right now and fan votes will determine who comes away in the top spot in each category. Winners will be announced during the Rock & Worship Roadshow Tour in February and March.

Mark Schultz had a more significant part in setting up for one show this weekend. Mark tweeted: I’m on the road crew since the venue is only three minutes from my house.

Danny Gokey is once again using his voice to help others. He’s one of the featured guest at the 2014 Merry Mercy Christmas Benefit in Nashville on December the 9th. The evening is a fundraiser for Mercy Ministries, a free of charge Christian residency program for young women who want help.

Casting Crowns has finally played shows in all 50 states. Over the weekend the band’s Thrive Tour was in Providence, Rhode Island, the only state they had never played in before.

A first for the group of Mercyme. This weekend they help their first concert on ice. MercyMe was part of Scott Hamilton’s fundraiser in support of cancer research. The event was titled Scott Hamilton and Friends on Ice and featured figure skating performances, A Mercyme live concert, and dinner.

Josh Havens was leading worship in a new worship space this weekend. The lead singer of The Afters also leads worship for the Grove in Arizona when he’s not on the road. Josh tweeted that this weekend was their first in a new facility.

The members of Kutless say their travels came to an abrupt stop Saturday night. Guitarist James Mead tweeted that they were in a wreck while traveling through Canada and dealing with freezing rain and ice. The good news is James says the band is all ok. And he added that the Canadians really came through. He says waitresses, some fellows from an oil rig, and an old man named Mo all joined together to help Kutless get to their hotel safe and sound.

Christian comedian Bob Smiley says Texas did not disappoint. At a recent stop in Lufkin, Texas Bob says the first thing he was asked to sign was a nine year olds pocket knife.

Former Group 1 Crew member Blanca is out with her first single as a solo artist. Blanca tweeted: new name, same Blanca. She says: it’s all about sharing the real me and taking you on a journey of Who I am. That’s the name of her new song. And she says more big things are coming soon.

Passion Worship Leader Christy Nockels recorded a live worship album at the Passion City Church over the weekend. Look for new music coming this spring.

Passion pastor Louie Giglio is having a tough time keeping up with the demand for his new book on Advent. He shared on Twitter that more print books are coming soon as he attempts to keep up with the demand. But Louis adds that there are ways to keep up on the celebration of Advent in the meantime. Shane and Shane member Shane Barnard was talking this week about being truly happy. Shane B had been watching the VeggieTales Christmas classic about St. Nicholas and says it was a good reminder of what it takes to be truly happy. He said it reminded him to quit searching for the next hit song, a larger ministry, a higher paying job, or some other unknown earthly pleasure. Instead, Shane says he is happy as long as he remembers that he has stumbled on the treasure in the field. That if he has Jesus he has everything. And if he has everything, there is no longer anything he needs to be looking for. Shane says: when that happens, I am free to love and to serve with no return.

The members of the band NeedToBreathe are encouraging you to post a picture of your brother. They say it’s not necessarily the person you are physically related to. But instead, they want you to share a photo of someone who has been a brother or sister to you by providing a shelter for you, however you personally interpret that. The thought comes from the latest Needtobreathe single called Brother. It represents the band’s new found way of looking at one another. An update from Jimmy Needham on the status of his voice. He said he is definitely making progress, adding that he is in less pain than ever. But Jimmy says he is still praying that he can finish his record before January and, at this point, his voice still isn’t back to full strength.

Chris and Jodi are enjoying their time off. The members of Love and the Outcome tweeted: happiness is not having to set the alarm for the next morning. They added: second cup of coffee in bed… This hasn’t happened in a long time.

Mercyme’s Bart Millard is starting a new fad. He’s combining hipster skinny jeans and lumberjack flannel shirts to create something he calls lumpster.

What is your favorite Christmas album. Casting Crowns’ Chris Hoffman says it’s interesting that two of his all-time favorite Christmas albums are by country artists. The Casting Crowns bass player says it’s funny because he is such a heavy metal music junkie.

Natalie Grant is wrapping up filming on season two of the reality show It Takes a Church. She tweeted this week that it is the final week of filming for season two. Natalie is the host of the program that airs on GSN.

The Tennessean newspaper sat down with Joel and Luke Smallbone, members of For King and Country, during the week of Thanksgiving. The resulting article was described by the brothers as a journey of struggle and miracles. The Steingards have made it to California. Jon Steingard, the frontman for Hawk Nelson, tweeted that he and his wife have finally arrived in the state. Sidewalk Prophets frontman Dave Frey is getting into the Christmas spirit. He tweeted: not even a slight temperature and a stuffy nose can keep me from enjoying the Christmas tree.

Jenny Simmons now hangs her hat in Tennessee. But the Texas native was celebrating her homeland. She recently tweeted that she was enjoying Mexican Coke, the Texas Longhorns, and homemade tamales.

Darlene Zschech says she loves Christmas time. she added that sense last year’s celebration was kind of a blur after her cancer diagnosis diagnosis and surgery, this year the Zschech family is going double, double the blessing, double the celebration, double the thankfulness.

Dan Bremnes was enjoying watching his kids discover new things for the first time this week. He tweeted a picture of his family at a pumpkin farm in the Tennessee area. His young son was clearly enjoying his first contact with pumpkins.

Worship leader Chris Tomlin is joining together with the Worship Together website and the Charity Water organization to provide clean water this Christmas. Representatives say 800 million people worldwide are living without access to clean water. To help, Chris Tomlin is joining with Worship Together in an effort to complete 20 water projects around the world. They are asking individuals to give a one-time gift of $20, pointing out that it’s not a huge amount for each individual person but altogether, it can make a big difference in the lives of the poor.

The ONE Campaign, founded by Bono, and Biblica, the publisher of the NIV Bible, are teaming up to rally American Christians in the effort to find a cure for AIDS and expand AIDS prevention using Jesus Christ’s teachings as found in the Bible. According to the Christian Post, the two organizations hope to work together to introduce over a million people in churches across the nation to the project by using the Advent message. Representatives say “The central message of Advent is the eternal hope that we have in the coming of Jesus and the healing life He brings.”

Pastor Louie Giglio is using a new book to encourage evangelicals to recover Advent, the church holiday that leads up to Christmas. According to a Time Magazine article, this year, Giglio is encouraging the evangelical community to spend time celebrating Advent as a way to build trust in God when times are hard. Giglio says celebrating Christmas is about more than just marking Jesus’ birthday; it’s also about remembering God’s presence in hard times. Giglio hopes that Advent can offer a new encouragement. He says “I don’t have a neat and tidy message of faith—it does not always work out the way we want it to work out.” Giglio adds. “Christmas is a reminder that God is at work and those plans are still unfolding.”

The countdown to Christmas has begun. Avalon member Janna Long says she is getting her Christmas celebration off to a quick start. She tweeted last night that they were attending their first Christmas party of the holiday season on the first day of December.

In 2005 MercyMe released their Christmas CD Christmas sessions. And this week Bart Millard promised that in 2015, one decade later, the band will release a sequel. Something to look forward to; new Christmas music from MercyMe in less than 12 months.

Shaun Groves this week released a Christmas EP titled Christmas Volume 1- Joy to the World, All Creatures. The project features five songs ranging from traditional carols to modern folk originals. Chris and Jodi are from Canada. So the couple that makes up the group Love and the Outcome have made an extra effort during their recent Canadian tour to introduce their drummer, Floridian Carrie Karpinen, to the country they call home. Chris and Jodi say Carrie has really fallen in love with Canada. They tweeted a picture of the drummer in a t-shirt and ear muffs, drinking from a mug, all covered predominantly with pictures of the Canadian maple leaf.

Need to Breathe is gearing up for their sold out swing through the UK. The band will be holding concerts in London, Belfast, and Glasgow later this week. But since those concerts have been sold out for months the band has already scheduled another series of concerts in 2015.

Danny and Leyicet Gokey received a special anniversary gift. Just days before the couple celebrated their third anniversary their second child, Victoria Isabella Gokey, was born. Danny says she came into the world at a whopping 9 pounds, 2 ounces.

A writer from the Experience Nashville website recently sat down to talk more with Michael W Smith. As part of the interview they talked about Michael’s new Christmas record The Spirit of Christmas, his upcoming Christmas tour, and tonight’s performance on the CMA Country Christmas program. Paul Baloche was reliving a childhood moment over the weekend. He found that his favorite ice cream as a child has been reintroduced. He tweeted a picture of a tub of Breyers butter almond ice cream.

Matthew West is going Clark Griswold style. He tweeted that he just purchased a giant, obnoxious, blow up Christmas lawn decoration.

Building 429 guitarist Michael Anderson was in one of the cold spots of our country over the weekend. He tweeted that it was freezing outside but the cold weather wasn’t keeping him in the house. Ken Davis says he was tired of Black Friday. So the Christian comedian tweeted that he was having a purple Saturday sale.

Third Day’s Mac Powell was enjoying is holiday weekend off. At noon on Saturday he tweeted: I’m still in my jammies. Fellow Christian artist Rhett Walker clearly is from a different generation. He replied: me too, but I’m out on the town.

Good news for Toby Mac and Tenth Avenue North. It looks like they made the nice list this year, at least in the eyes of one of their young fans. The guys passed on a photo that had been sent send to them. It listed all of the people on the nice list according to this child and the two artists included on the list were TobyMac and Tenth Avenue North. It looks like the rest of the artists still have some work to do.

Tiffany Lee and her family were recently putting up their Christmas tree. And the artist who goes by the name Plumb said doing that is extra special for her family because every year they decorate it with all their memories. Each year they buy one ornament for each family member and another for the family as a whole unit to represent the past year. Tiffany says three years ago their tradition, and their family, almost ended. She said Christmas is now extra special as they remember how God brought them back together.

Tenth Avenue North frontman Mike Donehey received a real world example of Christ’s love this week. He tweeted that his youngest child had vomited all over herself and he had to carry her in his arms through a crowded restaurant. Mike says it was an excellent reminder that: in our sickness and shame, he wraps his arms around us. His kindness leads us to repentance.

The Rush of Fools seem to be a house divided. Drummer Jamie Sharp signed on to the bands twitter feed under front man Kevin Huguley’s name and tweeted Roll Tide just before the Alabama football game against Auburn Saturday night. He added: Jamie Sharpe is my favorite Fool. An hour later Kevin Huguley discovered the post and made sure the band’s followers knew he was still cheering for Auburn. Kevin added, in other news, we’re looking for a new drummer.

Casting Crowns Chris Huffman and his family were especially thankful this year. Chris tweeted: This time one year ago,we weren’t real sure if Silas would last much longer waiting for a heart, and in 8 days it will be one year post-transplant!

Jenny Simmons is out with a blog on this year’s Thanksgiving at her house. She started off her blog by stating: to be quite honest I was terrified of Thanksgiving this year. Jenny said holidays are typically stressful and this year she had a lot of guests in town squeezing their small house to the limit. Plus her family had lost four members over the past year. However Jenny says what happened instead was quite unexpected. She says they had their best Thanksgiving ever. Jenny added I think it’s because we all came with our limps, battle scars, and sadness and we were kind to one another, empathetic, gracious, and honest.

Jon Steingard and his wife have spent the past several months preparing for their move from Nashville to California. The Hawk Nelson frontman tweeted a picture of his car pulling a small u-haul trailer containing everything they own. The Steingards have been selling things off over the past several months in preparation for their move to California and Jon says their big adventure has now officially begun.

In 1995, Brandon Heath’s first Christian album purchase was Steven Curtis Chapman’s The Music Of Christmas. Nearly 20 years later, Brandon is on stage for a Christmas concert with Steven. And Brandon tweeted, as the Christmas tour kicked off, that he was reflecting on a God that cares that much.

Matthew West offered this observation on Thanksgiving: A day when friends, family, and people of all walks of life gather around their computer and Google “how to cook a turkey.”

A bit of Thanksgiving trivia share by Matthew West yesterday. He said the original lyrics of his song Do Something were actually: “It’s not enough to taste nothing, it’s time for us to brine something.” Attached was a picture of the turkey from the West family celebration.

What did you do on Thanksgiving Day? Jonny Diaz says his day looked like this: On this thanksgiving I moved over 10,000 pounds of gym equipment and install 2000 feet of rubber flooring. Jonny and his wife run a group training gym in Nashville named Fit Factory. Jonny added: We are so grateful to have friends who will give up their thanksgiving morning to help us!

Casting Crowns Jaun DeVevo kicked off Thanksgiving by joining his daughter in a turkey day 5k run. Jaun congratulated his daughter on finishing in just 40 minutes. He tweeted: that’s not too bad when your legs are only one and a half feet long.

On Thanksgiving Day Mike Grayson, from the group MIKESCHAIR, tweeted that he and his wife are most happy for their baby girl. Mike says he just found out last week that their baby will be a girl.

Phil Wickham said out loud what most of us were thinking on Thanksgiving Day. He tweeted: So thankful for a God who is living and cares about us…and pie.

Even with a broken foot, when the family wants to go to Silver Dollar City for Thanksgiving, the show must go on. MercyMe’s Robbie Schaefer tweeted a picture of the scooter he was using to get around on due to the broken foot he suffered while filming the music video for Mercyme’s song Greater.

Congratulations to Shane Bernard from the group Shane and Shane. They introduced Ruby Claire Bernard this week, the latest addition to their family.

Jamie Grace says she doesn’t like sugar. She tweeted this week: ice cream tastes like robitussin.

UK worship leader Matt Redman said that, since both of his sons were born in the USA, he and his family joined in the American Thanksgiving Day celebration in their own little way yesterday. He tweeted a picture of the pumpkin bread that they were making.

MercyMe’s Bart Millard tweeted an ad for a nativity set he saw in the local classifieds. It was missing just a few essentials. The ad offered a nativity set that was missing Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

What should you do if you ever see Natalie Grant in a discount store parking lot? That scenario happened recently to one of Natalie’s fans. She said she wanted to give Natalie a high five when she saw her in a target parking lot but she refrained. Natalie replied: next time, say hi.

What makes a trip to visit family your complete. Christy Nockels tweeted this week: the trip home to mom and dads isn’t complete without getting out all the old records that shaped us. Attached is a picture of albums by Amy Grant, Farrell and Farrell, and more.

Amy Grant said she was overwhelmed with her experience on the Santa Train this past weekend. Long time Christian artist told Billboard Magazine that her sense of awe started with the unbelievable number of presents. She says there were bags of gifts hanging on the wall six to eight bags deep for all ages of kids. But Amy says the most amazing part was everyone showing up, and the excitement, and the beauty of the event. The Santa Train made 13 stops during the day, staying roughly 15 to 20 minutes at each place. Amy says the world seemed to come to a complete stop in each of the communities. She says she got choked up several times for everything from the beauty of the countryside to all of the kids who came out to meet the train.

Officials from Acquire the Fire announced this week that the band 7eventh Time Down will be at Acquire the Fire events this Spring. The ministry of Teen Mania International says events will kick off on January 30 and will continue into May.

Matt Redman wants to know if they are making words up at his kids school. He tweeted their spelling list and admitted he had no idea whatsoever what the words on the test list actually mean. Some of the words on the list included triclinium, hypocaust, and amphora.

Some bad news and some good news about Casting Crowns’ Carnegie Hall performance in late January. Members of the band announced over the weekend that the concert is sold out. But they say you can still have the best seat in the house. You can join Casting Crowns for a full weekend of fun, culminating with the chance to sing with them on stage the night of the event. James Mead says it’s time to head into the woods. The Kutless guitarist is back in Oregon after the Come Alive tour with Jeremy Camp.

Tiffany Lee says her daughter Clementine is on crutches this week. The artist who goes by the name Plumb was sharing pictures of her daughter in the hospital where she had to get a boot after injuring her foot. Clementine is now getting around on crutches for the holidays. But Tiffany says she still has a good attitude.

A public service announcement from Sidewalk Prophets guitarist Ben McDonald. He tweeted: texting and driving is dangerous; but not nearly as dangerous as driving while eating a candy apple.

Aaron Shust got a kick out of one of his Twitter followers and their suggestion for celebrating the holidays. They told Aaron that, every Christmas, they send a letter to random addresses that’s says: The money is in the brown paper bag under the mailbox on State Street. When you get it, text me on the disposable cell phone, throw it away, and head to the airport. We’re so close. Don’t screw it up.

Meredith Andrews was sharing about one of her favorite baby gifts after the birth of her daughter Frankie. She received a box full of balloons. Each one said something about Frankie with a scripture listed underneath. Meredith says it absolutely melted her heart.

Brandon Heath was in Kazakhstan over the weekend to watch his buddy, Astronaut Terry Virts, launched into space for a six month stint on the International space station. Virts was one of three astronauts on the flight. And Brandon was there to watch the launch with Virt’s family. In fact, he says he spent the entire last week with Virts and his family as Virts prepared for the launch.

Sometimes having more than one artist in the family comes in handy. Jamie Grace was at Spirit Fest this weekend and got sick while singing. But her sister Morgan took over and Jamie says it was lovely. She adds that she is feeling much better now.

Several Christian artists were wrapping up tours this week but getting home for Thanksgiving wasn’t easy. Building 429’s Jason Roy was supposed to be home by 10:30pm but he was still at the airport at 2:45am due to flight delays. Mac Powell is looking forward to some time off. The lead singer of Third Day said they have no concerts or other work for the next 9 days. He says he’s looking forward to being with the whole family all week long.

Michael W Smith says he will have a special guest for his upcoming Christmas tour. He’ll be joined by the Cracker Barrel sock monkey for The Spirit of Christmas tour that kicks off on November 30th.

Airline personnel often get a bad rap, especially when dealing with artists equipment. But for King and Country recently commanded two Delta agents for their help. Agents Joy and Chris loaded 45 pieces of luggage at 6am for the members of for King and Country.

Mandisa has been part of the Thrive tour with Casting Crowns and the Sidewalk Prophets this fall. And Sidewalk Prophets front man Dave Frey seems to have made quite an impression. Mandisa tweeted: I’m in awe of Dave. He can hit higher notes than me! And I’m a girl!
