Congratulations to Casting Crowns. The band won an American Music Award Sunday night in the favorite contemporary inspirational artists category. Also in the running were Hillsong UNITED and the Newsboys.
Rush of Fools member Kevin Huguley says its always fun to see what people hear when they are given the band name over the phone. Kevin attached a picture of one reservation that had just come in for the Rush of Pools concert. Another fan commented that he originally thought the groups name was Russia Fools.

One Buffalo resident was making the most of this past weeks snow. Kathy from Buffalo tweeted that she was stranded in a blizzard listening to Sanctus Real. She said there’s nothing better for snowvember.

No better compliment from one musician to another. Kutless guitarist James Mead described MercyMe member Barry Graul as friendly, encouraging, and so talented.

Jonny Diaz’s wife had a unique way of telling him that they are going to have a girl. She had Jonny hit a ball full of colored powder with a golf club. When the ball hit the wall and burst open it was filled with pink powder.

One follower of Jamie Grace thinks she might be in the wrong profession. Cassie Danae tweeted: if you wanted to, you could seriously stop singing and start preaching. To which Jamie Grace replied: thank you so much. It’s a privilege.

Mandisa says that one of the best weapons we, as believers in Christ, have in any battle are God’s words. And now you can join her on her journey. Congratulations to Kari Jobe. She is now Mrs. Cody Carnes. Kari was married to the worship leader late last week.

Danny Gokey was talking with a local news channel about his music and his work with the Sophia’s Heart Foundation, named after his late wife. Danny says there is fear, faith, loss and grace in life and he has seen it from both sides. Danny has changed his own life by returning to Christian music. But he is also helping to change the lives of others through the his ministry to the homeless, helping them in all facets of their life.

The Afters frontman Josh Havens took part in a golf tournament over the weekend. It was put on by The Grove, the church where Josh serves as pastor of worship what he is not on the road with The Afters. Josh was joined by his son Owen and he says Owen’s first put went right in the hole.

The Sidewalk Prophets are facing detention. Band members tweeted that they misspelled Valparaiso in their video. So they are now making up for it by spelling it 100 times correctly on the chalkboard.

Officials say the response has been fantastic to the fundraiser Natalie Grant hosted last week for her friend and backgrounds singer Amanda Noelle. Amanda has been diagnosed with severe colon cancer and Natalie hosted a fundraiser at the Crosspoint church to raise funds for her treatment. She was joined on stage by many of her fellow artists, including Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Mandisa, Building 429, Plumb, Danny Gokey, and Dave Barnes. And it is just been announced that nearly sixty thousand dollars was raised through the event to help fund Amanda’s cancer treatment.

Casting Crowns Chris Hoffman was making the most of his time at home this weekend. He tweeted that his family was setting up their Christmas tree and he was filming a special video for their church Sunday morning.

The New Tenth Avenue North CD Cathedrals is off to a great start. The album debuted at number one last week on both iTunes and Billboard’s Top Christian Albums Charts and landed at #32 on the Billboard Top 200.

Brandon Heath is a self proclaimed Space Nerd. His friend Terry Virts in is Russia preparing to represent NASA as the commander of a mission to the International Space Station. And Brandon says he is in Russia right now to observe the launch. It is scheduled for next Monday, November 24.

Tenth Avenue North front man Mike Donehey on the bands new CD Cathedrals: Lyrically I can say this is the first record where there’s a line in every song that made me cry at some point.

Mike Grayson, lead singer of MIKESCHAIR, says Christmastime is here. Mike said since we are gone most of December touring we don’t feel bad about starting early. Attached was a picture of their fully decorated Christmas tree.

Casting Crowns guitarist Josh Mix says he did the most adult thing he’s ever done this week. He closed on a house. Josh said: can’t wait to make this a home with Andrea Mix and bring our little boy home to it. Pray for us as we start this journey, please.

Mac Powell of Third Day says things are finally right with the world again. He tweeted that his beloved Alabama is back at number one in the college football polls.

Jamie Grace may be a little too busy. She tweeted that,on Wednesday she thought it was Tuesday. On Thursday she said happy Monday. Jamie said: great timing that my mini vacation is next week, or maybe the week after.

A 7eventh Time Down follower recently told the band that their song The One I’m running to isn’t background music, it’s a prayer to sing along to.

The ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association isn’t just limited to stadiums. The Christian Post reported that the ministry of evangelist Billy Graham marked a milestone this past weekend as the 5 millionth person indicated a decision to accept Jesus as his Savior through their evangelistic online presence at BGEA officials say they are just following Billy Graham’s legacy of taking the most advanced technical capabilities available and reaching people where they are with the hope of Jesus.

Head banging isn’t easy but Hillsong United’s Taya Smith might just be an expert. Representatives from Capital CMG recently shared a short video of Taya on stage doing her best rendition of head banging. Their caption for the video was “learn from the master”. Phillips, Craig and Dean reached another career milestone with their 24th Number 1 single. Their song “Jesus, Only Jesus” reached the top of the chart this week on Billboard Soft AC Chart. And Randy Phillips explains why he thinks the single is resonating with music fans. He said “People’s lives are complicated on so many levels. There are so many challenges. But the great news is this: through the help of the Holy Spirit, He can breathe hope into their situation. Our hope is not in our strength, but it’s ‘Jesus, only Jesus.’”

Sidewalk Prophets guitarist Ben McDonald says it’s his favorite time of the year. He tweeted that he was watching MSU Spartan basketball.

Audrey Assad is asking for prayer for her baby nephew Ethan. He underwent open heart surgery this week.

Jenny Simmons says her Kickstarter Santa program is in full gear. She was packaging up copies of her books in gift packages one day this. And as she packed each one, she also prayed over the books and the people who will read them. Jenny says there must be a lot of us who need to know we are not alone.

Matt Maher was recording a song this week with a couple of members from the group the Vespers. He described it as like wearing a Snuggie made of harmonies. Now that’s a word picture. (Snuggie: body-length blanket with sleeves usually made of fleece)

Shane and Shane have reach their goal with more than a month to spare. The Worship Initiative started by the two Shanes was scheduled to include 10 CDs with 100 songs in one year. Chris Tomlin was talking about his new worship CD Love Ran Red this week. And when asked by the Christian Post about his use of scripture in his music, Chris quipped: “You don’t want to throw a heresy to the world,” The well known worship leader went on to say “for me, a lot of the songs — especially the ones that have any kind of longevity, that have really gone further than me — have really come from the Scriptures. Chris added: “I find that’s the best way. Why not just sing something about what God has already written about himself?”

Less than one month remains to enter your original song in the Create songwriter search. Submissions will be accepted through December the 17th. The winning song will be recorded by Christian artist Mark Schultz and the winning author will also receive songwriting mentoring sessions from Worship leader Jaime Jamgochian. Well known songwriter Matthew West has released a brand new Christmas song just in time for the holidays. The song is titled A Christmas to Believe In. Matthew told Hear It First that the song began with the thought that for some, Christmas may feel more like a season to merely try and get through or survive. But, Matthew says his hope is that this song paints a warm picture of all the things that truly make this the most special time of year and a reminder not to miss it.”

Mark Schultz says exciting times are happening in the studio right now. He’s in the process of recording new songs and says some are already favorites. Mark says stay tuned, a new album is on the way.

The snow waited until the final weekend of Big Daddy Weave’s Beautiful Offerings Tour. The band was at one of the final stops of the tour in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and reported “it’s snowing like crazy”. The good news is that they were able wrap up the final two days of their tour before the snow got too deep.

Mark Hall says Casting Crown’s Carnegie Hall show in early 2015 is the height of irony. Mark tweeted that the got cut from the choir in high school. Michael W. Smith will perform on the CMA Country Christmas special scheduled to air on ABC on Monday, December 1. Smith will perform two tracks off of his Christmas album – Michael W. Smith & Friends: The Spirit of Christmas. Joining him on stage will be CMA Awards host Carrie Underwood and the band Little Big Town. Michael W. Smith will perform his original song “All Is Well” with Underwood and the Christmas classic “Silent Night” with Little Big Town.

The members of Third Day are having a great time with their Evenings with Third Day tour. Tai Anderson shared that they start the night with about six songs, then take a bunch of requests, introduce a new song, and share about some of the biggest songs in their career. The tours are being held mostly in small theaters. Tai says they attempt to transform them into sanctuaries for their audience.

Christy Nockels has taken Christian Christmas decorations to a whole new level. She tweeted a picture of her new Santa Towel, Rapture edition. The towel features Santa’s coat, hat, gloves, and boots all laid out with no Santa in sight.

Josh Wilson says that, sometimes on your birthday, you just have to fly. And fly he did. He tweeted a picture as he experienced a skydiving simulator that gives you a true free fall experience by using a 1000 horse power vertical wind tunnel.

The Youversion Bible App is again partnering with Tenth Avenue North to produce another devotional series. The new 14 day devotional features group front man Mike Donehey explaining the concept behind the groups latest CD Cathedrals. Mike says: we are Cathedrals because the Spirit of God lives in us. Michael W. Smith has been honored by the Nashville Association of Talent Directors for his impact on the Nashville entertainment industry. At the NATD’s annual gala the organization honored seven entertainment professionals, including Michael, for their efforts to make Nashville the entertainment mecca that it is today.

Danny Gokey says he and his wife are going small this Christmas. Danny said they will be moving into their new house just a few days before Christmas so they are keeping the Christmas decorations in their current home to a minimum. He tweeted a picture of two small trees in front of their fire place with Christmas garland over the hearth.

Casting Crowns Megan Garrett was playing the roll of a stay at home mom today. She said her mental soundtrack for the day was: “Y’all ‘gon make me lose my mind, up in here, up. in. here.”

Louie Giglio’s advent devotional book is in high demand. Several people tweeted the Passion pastor to let him know that it was, as one follower put it, “sold out everywhere”. But good news. Citizen Way member David Blasco has declared that it is officially scarf season. He tweeted his picture, complete with a scarf, this week while making the official announcement.

Matt Redman is making the most of his time in Atlanta. He led worship at the Passion City Church this past Sunday and this week has been working on some song demos in the facility’s new studio space.

Danny Gokey’s organization Sophia’s heart got some help recently from a couple of well-known individuals. Danny said he was honored to have artist Amy Grant and author Karen Kingsbury support the ministry named after Danny’s late wife.

Paul Baloche recently took a break from touring. He and the members of his band were in Breckenridge, Colorado for a band ski retreat.

Matthew West this week shared a picture of what he called a Tennessee snowstorm. The picture showed a dusting of snow on Mathew’s deck and the grass in his backyard. He said schools were cancelled, grocery stores were running out of milk, and pandemonium was ensuing.

You may remember a video Andrew Peterson recorded two years ago while playing a piano in the woods. This week he shared a second picture. Andrew said this is what happens to a piano it has been in the woods for two years. Check out the picture by clicking on the link at

Jenny Simmons celebrated the first this year. As a new resident of Tennessee Jenny celebrated her first snowy birthday. The former resident of Texas shared a picture of their deck covered with a dusting of snow.

The members of for King and Country are asking for prayer for their bus driver, Woody. They say his wife of more than 40 years passed away unexpectedly this week.

Mandisa says she learned something new last night. Her fire alarm chirps every 30 seconds when the battery needs to be changed. Attached to the tweet was a picture of a pistol. After a night of beeping it looks like she is ready to take drastic action.

Natalie Grant is asking you to be in prayer today for Amanda Noelle. The 30 year old background singer for Natalie is begriming her cancer treatments today after recently finding that her colon cancer is more advanced and the prognosis is worse than originally thought. Natalie will be hosting a fundraising concert for Amanda this evening in Nashville. She’ll be joined by Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Mandisa, Building 429, Plumb, Danny Gokey, and Dave Barnes.

Hillsong Church and its band Hillsong United recently received special recognition on ABC News’ “Nightline” program. The megachurch was founded in Australia in 1983 and today has over 30,000 members. The “Nightline” program highlighted the achievements of the church and its music.

Casting Crowns Chris Huffman says their house is a toy disaster area. He tweeted: some days my daughters have no clue just how close they come to having every toy of theirs in our house given away.

A book from Laura Story is in the works. She was in Nashville this week meeting with Thomas Nelson.

It was Love and the Outcome to the rescue after the Building 429 bus broke down in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Monday. They were on their way to Denver for their final show of the tour when their bus bit the dust. So the members of Building 429 crammed into the Love and the Outcome van for the final leg of their trip. They say: At least it was be a memorable last day of the tour, adding that the name of the tour, We Won’t Be Shanken, has taken on a whole new meaning.

The members of 7eventh Time Down had a little bit of fun on the final night of their tour with Family Force 5. They borrowed outfits from the Family Force 5 wardrobe, creating a whole new look for the band. And they say they also sabotaged the Family Force 5 Cray button. Ben and Dave from the Sidewalk Prophets held a live video chat last night to announce the 2015 Family Room Tour. They said that, after 13 years of touring, they want to thank all the fans who have stood with and supported them by creating an acoustic concert experience that is all about the fans. The cost will be only $10 per person and the goal will be a family room atmosphere giving the chance for the band to meet and get to know everyone in the audience better. There will even be a separate pizza party with the band before the concert. Mac Powell bears a striking resemblance to what Americans believe Jesus looked like. The lead singer of Third Day tweeted a picture of what he called the new Mac Powell action figure available just in time for Christmas. He then sent out a second post acknowledging that it was actually an action figure of Jesus he had found at a local store.

At least one member of the Simmons family is excited to see snow. The long time residents of Texas saw their first snow flakes at their new home in Nashville over the weekend. Jenny Simmons said her daughter Annie squealed with joy. But Jenny points out that winter doesn’t officially start for another 6 weeks. And while Annie is excited, Jenny says she hopes the main winter weather will wait until then.

The name of the latest Tenth Avenue North song seems to be a little confusing. At least one station has reported a request for the Christmas song Snowman is an Island. The song is actually No Man is an Island. Its off the new Tenth Avenue North CD Cathedrals that comes out on Tuesday.

Family Life Today co-host Bob Lepine has some good news to share. He had announced in early October that his wife Mary Ann was going in for surgery after doctors found a small tumor on her brain. Late last week Bob announced that the final report was in and the tumor was simply a benign lesion and no further treatment would be needed.

The complete list of Covenant Award winners was released over the weekend. Dan Bremnes was the big winner in the annual equivalent to the United States’ Dove Awards announced last Thursday. He came away with the awards for Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year and his song Beautiful was named Recorded song of the Year and Pop song of the Year. Love and the Outcome was named Group of the Year and their self titled Album was selected as Album of the Year. Amanda Cook was named Female Vocalist of the Year. His latest tour is over and Jason Gray is enjoying his time at home. He tweeted a picture of a snow covered hill titled “first sled of the season.” Jason says he and his son followed up sledding by making a candle out of an orange and olive oil using a video they found on YouTube.

The members of Audio Adrenaline were celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their Hands and Feet project in the country of Haiti. Band members say it is still going strong. They encouraged their followers to also follow the Hands and Feet project online to keep up to date.

Francesca Battistelli says watching ballet on television this fall is reminding her of her childhood dreams. The New York city native says she used to dream about going to the School of American Ballet in her home town and then dancing for the New York City Ballet.

Mark Schultz is hoping to clear up a misunderstanding. Mark Schultz the musician, that is. He tweeted: there is a movie coming out about a wrestler named Mark Schultz, played by Channing Tatum. Mark said: that’s not me, in case anyone was confused.

Danny Gokey is celebrating. He recently shared that God has allowed them to rescue nearly 100 homeless people through the organization he named after his late wife Sophia. Danny says the organization helps the homeless get off the streets by providing them a place to live and helping them find jobs.

The Afters say a photo op during their tour in Europe resulted in an injury to their bass player. Band members tweeted two pictures. The first was of Dan jumping off some large rocks near the ocean. The second showed Dan with his ankle propped up and tightly wrapped.

Michael W. Smith has been selected as Philanthropist of the Year by the Nashville Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. On National Philanthropy Day the organization announced their selection of Smith for the award based on his extensive work with Rocketown. When Michael founded the organization in 1994 it was the first of its kind in the Southeast. But officials say Rocketown over the years has grown into a model example for Christian-based relational outreach programs across the country.

Natalie Grant is getting ready for Christmas. She tweeted over the weekend: All this wintry weather makes me excited for mistletoe and holly. Natalie says she and her family decorated their Christmas tree this weekend, adding that: when you travel as much as we do, the earlier the better so we can enjoy it.

A guitar player’s tip from Jason Gray. He says he busted a nail during a recent concert. But Jason says cutting off the corner of a dollar bill and super gluing it over the break works as a good patch. He says all those fibers help to hold the nail together.

MercyMe’s Nathan Cochran says he’s a certified eighties kid. The bands bass player tweeted a picture with a Ninja Turtles shirt under his cardigan sweater.

Sara Groves said she had an encouraging weekend. She got to spend it with officials from the International Justice Mission hearing stories of the work being done and watching people respond in the San Francisco community.

A word of encouragement from Mandisa. She says she understands that this month’s Scripture is a little longer but says she has found it easier to memorize by breaking it down verse by verse. Mandisa says once you have verse 9 down, then tackle verse 10.

John Waller will release his first Christmas project, titled Silent Night, on iTunes this week. And John says the release will be followed by a family Christmas tour beginning on November the 29th. John says his entire family will be joining him on the tour.

What do you do when you can’t think of anything to tweet about; if you are Andrew Peterson you tweet about that. Andrew posted on his Twitter account today: I can’t think of a single thing to tweet about.

Another film appearance for Natalie Grant. She was making a cameo appearance in the new film called Caged this week.

Third Day’s Tai Anderson is redefining his occupation based on how he actually spends time on tour. He says he’s a professional coffee drinker and a part time crossfitter who occasionally plays music.

In this month of Thanksgiving, Jesse Garcia of Building 429 is expressing thanks for airplanes. He tweeted that, thanks to airlines, he was able to get a few extra days at home before flying west to meet the bus and their crew and continue on with their latest tour.

Love and the Outcome often comments that their life is a road trip. And they were living it out one day this week. Jodi tweeted that they were driving from Nashville to Phoenix, A 28 hour trip.

Brandon Heath has made it clear that Christmas celebrations should wait until after Thanksgiving. So what to do when they celebrate early? Brandon’s solution: Send them to the South Pole.

A suggestion from Dave Ramsey for a new holiday tradition. He tweeted: Here’s an idea! Make sticking to a budget part of your holiday traditions!

Mercyme drummer Robbie Shaffer says he and his family are making the most of their one tree the changes color every fall. He tweeted a picture of the tree and said that, even though it’s the only one, it is still something they look forward to every year.

Todd Agnew changed hats this week. The Christian artist is also a student at Dallas seminary but this week he was serving as a teacher, at least for a short time. Todd taught the rest of the students a version of We’ve a Story to Tell to the Nations.

Jeremy Camp has announced the release date for his upcoming new CD. The CD titled I Will Follow will be released on February the third and will include 11 tracks.

Brandon Heath recently took questions from his fans on twitter. Below are some of those questions and the answers from Brandon:
-where did you get inspired for the song “Love will be enough”: I wrote that song with my friend Dave Barnes in the back of a bus one day in Waco, TX.
-what’s your favorite food to eat on the road? Hummus and Pita Chips
-Have you gone on any missions trips lately? I went to Honduras last summer with Buckner Shoes.
-did you play sports in high school? I played Baseball until high school when it got a little too serious for me.
-Brandon what type of music do you listen to? I like all kinds of music, but mostly Country Music. I am a Nashville boy after all
-What is your top favorite song that you have written so far? I would say my favorite song that I’ve ever written is I’m Not Who I Was. It seems like it’s still unfolding every day
-favorite thing to do? I love to go for a ride a motorcycle on Sunday
-do you have any weird habits? I don’t know if I call it weird or a habit but I do need coffee around 2pm everyday.

Hawk Nelson’s John Stein guard was taking advantage of his new motorcycle knowledge this week. After recently taking a weekend training class and getting his license he says he rented a motorcycle and “made friends with the road”.

What are your favorite family moments? Natalie Grant says hers are when her husband plays the piano and her daughters dance.

A thought on dating from Jamie-Grace: it’s so much better to be single and waiting, even if it’s a long wait, for God’s impeccable timing than to date someone just because the waiting doesn’t seem worth it at times. Being single your whole life puts a lot into perspective and though I’d so love to be married someday (soon…) my timing would only fail me. Girls and guys both: don’t try to jump ahead in the beautifully written story of your life… you’ll just ruin the ending.

Nigel James, the road pastor for Third Day, recently shared a set list from a Third Day show. He asked those following Third Day on Twitter to list the 15 songs in order that would be on their Third Day dream set list. Nigel said he would share his top 15 in a few days.

Jodi and Chris of Love and the Outcome say they need to get filled so they can pour out. They were thankful for one last night to spend with their church family this week before heading back out on tour.

Francesca Battistelli was getting a jump on Christmas this week. She tweeted that it was a schedule for the night was popcorn, twizzlers, and the movie Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas Night at their house.

Congratulations to Meredith Andrews on the birth of her baby daughter. Frances “Frankie” Evangeline Sooter came into the world at 7 lbs, 9 oz. and Meredith says she’s praising God. Check out a picture at

An interesting observation by a fan of DC Talk. He pointed out that all three former members of the 90s band produced CDs this month. The Newsboys came out with their new Hymns CD. TobyMac released a Remix CD. And Kevin Max will release his first CD as a solo artist at the end of the month. A reunion show has long been discussed by fans of DC Talk but, at least right now, they will have to settle for new music from the three members individually.

Casting Crowns Jaun DeVivo is thinking of writing a new book titled Campfire Horror Stories for Today’s Hip Kids. He says one chapter will be named When I was a Kid There was Only One Disney Channel.

Chris August says he might need a few more guitars. Attached was a picture of an entire rack full of guitars along with several others sitting outside the rack. In fact, there were a total of 10 guitars just in the one picture. It makes you think that he might have been exaggerating just a little bit.

The good news is that MercyMe’s Mike Scheuchzer has found his keys. The bad news he might want to wash them off first. Mike tweeted: “has anybody seen my keys” but then immediately added: “well, nevermind”. He tweeted a picture of where he’d found them; in a cup in the trash can.

Natalie Grant is putting together a benefit concert for her friend and background singer Amanda Noelle. The 30-year-old was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and Natalie says they just learned that the cancer is more advanced and the prognosis was worse than originally thought. Natalie has announced plans for a fundraising concert for Amanda on November 18th in Nashville. She’ll be joined by Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Mandisa, Building 429, Plumb, Danny Gokey, and Dave Barnes.

What did you do with your down time this week? Casting Crowns Jaun Devevo says he spent time sitting in a tree watching squirrels.

Tiffany Lee says using the same bathtub as your young children makes life interesting. The artist who goes by the stage name of Plumb says she finds everything from army men to Barbie dolls in the tub. But she added that she is thankful for her life with her children.

Meredith Andrews is just waiting. She tweeted as she and her husband were eating breakfast out that her contractions were 6 minutes apart. She said they were too far apart to go to the hospital but too close to go home. Meredith is waiting the birth of their third child. she says that after 2 boys, doctors think this one will be a girl.

A thought from Rush of Fools member Kevin Huguley that any faith family might want to ask: If we shut our doors and ceased to exist today, would our community and city miss us at all?

The song Take this City by the band Everfound was featured on Monday Night Football this week. The song includes help from Joel of the group for King and Country.

Building 429 guitarist Aaron Branch made voting a teachable moment yesterday. Aaron tweeted that he took his girls with him to vote. He says they had a good talk about why it’s important and how it affects the way we live.

Kerrie Roberts said she had two things on her to do list yesterday: Pray and vote!!!

Sidewalk Prophets guitarist Ben McDonald says: There is an overabundance of single socks in my sock drawer. Whoever took my missing socks please return them asap!

Jamie Grace got a day off this week but it wasn’t on purpose. Her tour bus was stuck by the side of the road for 9 hours. Jamie says that, due to the breakdown, they arrived at their destination much later than anticipated. But she says there was some good news. Jamie said: I’m just thankful we made it safely, and our fridge was stocked with hot pockets and kale chips.

MercyMe and Scott Hamilton will be joining together for a special night of music and skating in support of cancer research. The event is titled Scott Hamilton and Friends on Ice and will feature figure skating performances, A Mercyme live concert, and dinner. All proceeds will benefit the Provision Cares Foundation to support cancer education, wellness, and research. It will take place in Knoxville, Tennessee on December the 6th.

Phil Wickham was praying for worship leaders this week. He said nothing unifies the church and the one heart and one voice like worship music. Phil said sing with passion and serve with humility.

Michael W. Smith is encouraging all of his followers to vote today. He wrote an open letter on Facebook reminding his fans that that today is election day. In the letter Michael said “I for one will be thanking God for the great privilege I have to live in this country, where I can and should make every effort to be informed about how to vote, and then go do it! For those of you who are Americans, please “follow me to the polls” and make your voice heard on election day. And all of you please, please pray that God will be glorified on election day in the US!

Jamie Grace is feeling old. She tweeted that she will be 23 years old on the 25th of November.

You might be able to relate to MercyMe’s Mike Scheuchzer He tweeted someone forgot to tell our two year old about that extra hour of sleep thing.

Comedian Bob Smiley has flown a lot of miles. He tweeted: just flew my one millionth mile with United. He commented via twitter: I would have tweeted 30 minutes ago but I was on United so we were late.

Jenny Simmons says her five-year-old daughter has been properly raised. On the way to church this weekend Jenny’s daughter told her: I’m glad we have Starbucks. I mean what would we do without them?

Meredith Andrews was introducing something new in her house this week but it probably wasn’t what she hoped it would be. She and her husband tweeted a picture of a hutch in their house that they’d just finished refinishing. Meredith’s baby girl was due over the weekend but has yet to make an appearance.

A word of advice from Kutless member James Mead: don’t be mean.

Mandisa and her fans have been joining together to learn a passage of Scripture each month during 2014. But this week Mandisa was looking back at a past scripture memory verse. In fact it was the very first verse she ever memorized. Mandisa said it was psalm 119:11. The verse says I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Kerrie Roberts: I’m thankful for stay at home moms and dads! I don’t think there’s a better investment that you can make in the future.

Danny Gokey is counting the days until the birth of his second child. He posted a picture this week of his very pregnant wife along with the caption: 1 more month!

Sidewalk Prophets guitarist Ben McDonald says his number one piece of advice for people wanting to get healthy is: change your attitude about being active. Ben says moving is fun, I promise. And Ben would know. He used to weigh over 300 pounds before starting his own exercise regimen.
